MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT.

The Yellow Rose of Texas and Margaritaville.

The Yellow Rose of Texas is a gastronomic establishment in the City of Iquitos, Peru, located on the 1st block of Jirón Putumayo, in the Historic Center of Iquitos. Founded by Gerald Mayeaux, it is a multi-level establishment that fuses bar and restaurant with an American theme. The other attached location, called Margaritaville, shares the same attributes as the main establishment.

Margaritaville has been noted for its peculiar collectibles. Described as a "Crazy Attic with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder" in The New York Times, the place is decorated with stuffed piranhas, shrunken heads, National Football League items, animal skulls, snake skins, naked mannequins, turtle shells giants and harness.
Additionally, waitresses often wear cheerleading uniforms from the Texas Longhorns at the University of Texas at Austin.

The name of the restaurant is influenced by the legend of Emily D. West, a heroine who played a leading role in the Independence of Texas, and who is also identified in the song "The Yellow Rose of Texas".

The Yellow Rose of Texas y Margaritaville it is a place with three options to spend pleasant moments:
        1. Restaurant with tables facing the street.
        2. More private restaurant and a bar-restaurant on the second floor with a balcony.
        3.The location is great, too.

The restaurant offers exquisite food and drinks from the region, national and international, and more. It is characterized by the excellent service they offer, where Peruvians and foreigners feel at home. In addition to the good service, the restaurant has equipped facilities to guarantee customers comfort and fun in the same place. They attend every day and 24 hours.
